Pencil Sharpener Giveaway!

If you're anything like me, you are looking forward to summer vacation right now. For me it's just seven days away, but who's counting? =) 

At the same time, I'm already starting to think about what I want to modify/change/add for next year's third graders. After redoing my entire classroom when I moved last year, I don't have a ton of things I need to do with my decor, but I do have plans for my curriculum map and classroom organization. More on that later... ;)

Space Spelling Freebie

We're working our way through my solar system unit as we march toward the end of the year. I save it for last each year because it keeps the students so engaged. I always learn something new too. It's totally a win-win in those last crazy days {assessment overload, anyone?}. With just one week left we are baaarely hanging on, friends! 

Anyway, I updated my spelling/word work for the unit so I wanted to share it with you. It has twenty space words to unscramble with five different ways to practice them. It's great for spelling, word work, and solar system review. I didn't take the time to make a preview or cute cover yet, so for now it's just on Google Docs. Please grab it if you can use it.

Feeding the clipart addiction...

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is obsessed with cute clipart and digital paper. It really is a sickness. Between my teaching products, blog designs, and just cute things for my own classroom... I have a real problem. =)

Don't ask me why, but I decided to add to my problem my creating some of my own. I get so inspired by different color palettes and patterns that I can't help it. I've been creating backgrounds for several of my Design by Christi blog designs and I had a bunch of random patterns and pieces that had been discarded. Instead of hoarding saving them for myself, I decided to add them to TpT. They're just too pretty to sit in my computer unused.

I have several more, but the creative side of my personality has me bouncing around between projects at the moment. It takes so much time to make previews and get thing bundled up neatly, and I'd rather spend time creating new stuff. I think I need a personal assistant! ;)

I also played around with a new Special Edition blog design. It's the inspiration for my next set of papers too.

As you can see, I'm all over the place today. =) I feel like my students, just itching for summer.  Hang in there, friends!
